Determination Of Flammability Of Textile Samples In Direct Direction

The standard is equivalent to the international standard draft ISO/DIS 6940:1998 "determination of the flammability of textile fabrics and the ignition ability of samples in the vertical direction".

The revised standard for determination of the ignition performance of GB/T 8746-1988 textile fabrics in vertical direction is revised as follows:

(L) the name of the standard has been changed to "determination of the flammability of textiles in vertical direction."

(2) the ignition gas source added "propane butane mixture gas".

(3) the 3 temperature adjustment conditions in the original standard were changed to 1 standard humidity control conditions: temperature (20 C soil 2 C, relative humidity 65K s 5%).

(4) change the two frameworks in the original standard to a framework with a size of 190 min * 70 mm;

(5) the diameter of the holes on the 4 corners of the template is changed from 2 mm to 4 mm.

(6) the flame height adjustment mode is changed from vertical adjustment to horizontal adjustment and vertical adjustment in two ways.

(7) the ignition interval is changed from 0.1s to 1.0s.

(8) increase the calculation of test results.

(9) appendix A is changed from the original "reference" to "standard appendix", and the contents of appendix B have been greatly changed.
