Textiles Burning Properties Determination Of Fabric Surface Burning Time
The standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 10047; 1993. Determination of the burning time between sheets of textiles.
The standard specifies the method for determining the surface burning time of textile fabrics, which is applicable to textile fabrics with fuzz (such as fleece, Terry, tufted or similar surfaces). The standard has revised the GB/T 8745-1988 "determination of the surface burning properties of textile fabrics" as follows:
(L) the name of the standard is changed to "determination of the burning time of textiles on the surface of fabrics."
(2) the ignition gas source added "propane butane mixture gas".
(3) changing the environmental humidity range to "15% to 80%".
(4) the distance from the top of the igniter to the surface of the sample holder is 17mm, instead of "the distance from the top of the igniter to the surface of the sample is 15mm".
(5) the reverse combustion of the flame on the fluff is changed to a direct combustion.
(6) appendix A and appendix B are changed from the original "reference" to "standard appendix", and the appendix C of the original standard is removed.
