The seventh China (Dalang) international wool products fair, jointly organized by the China Wool Textile Industry Association, the China Textile Council and the Dongguan Municipal People's government, jointly organized by the Dongguan Wool Textile Association and Dongguan Dalang Town People's government, was held in from November 2 to 5, 2008 in the "Chinese sweater town" - Guangdong Town, Dalang City, Dongguan.

It is understood that there are 1900 manufacturing enterprises in Da Long Mao weaving mill, accounting for 58.5% of the total number of wool weaving enterprises in the whole town, and a total of 711 sales enterprises, accounting for 95.3% of the total number of sales enterprises in the whole town.

Since its inception in 2001, China (Dalang) International Wool Textile Fair has become the most famous and influential trade event at home and abroad.

In order to further enhance the level of exhibition and create the most influential trade event in the wool weaving industry, the Dalang town government said that the "weaving rendezvous" will continue to highlight the characteristics of "marketization, internationalization, fashion and standardization", adhering to the tenet of "promoting the development of industry and serving the local economy" and giving full play to the functions of economic cooperation and trade negotiation.

It is reported that apart from local leading enterprises and famous enterprises in the province, there are also a number of exhibitors from Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Hongkong, as well as merchants from Italy, France, Russia, Spain, Hungary, Finland and other countries and regions such as South Africa, the United States, Korea and Japan.

Among them, more than 500 domestic clothing Brand Company and more than 400 general agents in all provinces, plus China Federation of general merchandise associations, China supermarket joint purchasing and Trade Federation and ITAT buyers group, expect the number of professional customers to reach 12000, of which more than 2000 foreign businessmen.

As a highly concentrated industrial cluster, Dalang has been listed as one of the 3 pilot units of Guangdong's regional international brand and one of the first 15 demonstration zones for upgrading industrial clusters.

There are nearly 10000 wool weaving enterprises in Dalang, which are centered around Dalang and covering the surrounding areas. There are only more than 3000 in the wool industry.

Among them, more than 100 large scale wool weaving enterprises have formed a complete set of supporting industries for R & D, production and processing, raw materials, machinery and equipment, water washing, printing, logistics, trade, personnel training, science and technology service, information consultation and so on.

At present, Dalang has more than 1 thousand middle and senior designers, more than 10 thousand technical backbone, and the world's most advanced computer knitting machines more than 4500.

The strong technical force has attracted more than 20 famous brands, such as POLO, kangaroo, Goldlion and other more than 10 world top brands and Ordos and Shanshan, which are produced in Dalang.

It is understood that Dalang's sweater 60% exported to Italy, the United States and other more than 80 countries and regions, has won a high reputation in the international market.

China (Dalang) wool textile product R & D center, Guangdong quality supervision wool inspection station (Dongguan), Dongguan Wool Textile Association, Dongguan wool garment designer association, Dalang town wool textile technology innovation center, and Tai Long Mao weave website and other public service platform provide a strong support system for the upgrading and pformation of the big wool industry.

The successful holding of the seventh "Textile Fair" will bring new opportunities to the promotion and upgrading of Dalang industry, and create a new situation. The role of "textile rendezvous" leading, service, gathering and radiation will become more prominent.
