International Fashion Forum Student Debate Held

On November 5, 2008, at the opening of China International Fashion Week, the final of the 2008 Beijing International Fashion Forum college debate was held in the D PARK PARK hall.

The debating team participating in this debate is composed of 4 teams from Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, Donghua University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and Renmin University of China.

The 4 debating teams will be divided into groups in November 4th, and the 2 winning teams will enter the finals.

The debate of the university debate is: "product innovation: rely mainly on market traction or technology promotion?"

The university debate is one of the series of activities of the Beijing International Fashion Forum. It is also an important part of the annual China fashion week.

This year's debate on student debates is closely related to the word "innovation", through the debate between the two sides, with a view to expanding the original idea of product innovation in garment industry.

The atmosphere of the college debate is very hot. The debators are talking with words. They use the intense and humorous expression to explain the views of all sides, win the appreciation of the judges and the applause of the audience.

The organizers hope that through this activity, they can arouse more attention of the students on the university campus to the topic of "innovation", while displaying the spirit and style of contemporary youth, they also look forward to stimulating the creative passion of the fashion industry and giving inspiration to the clothing industry.

2008 the Beijing International Fashion Forum student debate is sponsored by China Fashion Designers Association and China Fashion newspaper.

The final was held between Renmin University of China and Donghua University.

In the end, the Renmin University of China team won the competition and won the competition.
