With the rise of shoe leather manufacturing industry, the shoe material distribution industry in our city has also been booming, and the distribution of "big play" has become more famous.

Behind this "big play", the city shoe and shoe association is busy putting up a table for dealers.

In 1993, when the shoe material distribution industry started to develop, the city shoe materials association appeared on the stage.

President Ni Changxing said that the shoe material business association has its own particularity -- the majority of chamber members are dealers.

Therefore, the chamber of commerce should help the members to open up the market and expand the distribution venues as the focus of their services.

From nothing to nothing

Zhang Weishun, Secretary General of the chamber of Commerce, introduced that before 1993, Wenzhou shoe business operators mainly concentrated in the front street of city district.

Later, our city decided to set up a professional shoe market to support the development of shoe material distribution industry.

Thus, with the help of the chamber of Commerce, the first professional shoe market in our city was born here.

The whole market has 660 stalls and more than 500 merchants.

It is estimated that the annual turnover amounted to about 1 billion yuan.

In the 90s of last century, the shoe leather manufacturing industry in our country was developing at a high speed, and the shoe material market was also booming day by day.

A few years later, the limitations of the river bridge market are gradually emerging. Opening up a larger trading market has become the common aspiration of operators.

In 1998, the chamber of Commerce, together with relevant government departments, set up second shoe market in our city, Huanglong, Huang Longxie District, A market.

The market area of the A area is 10 thousand square meters larger than that of the river bridge market, which accommodates nearly 600 households.

Market facilities have been greatly improved.

Since then, Huanglong shoe market B area and C area have been built in 2002 and 2004 respectively.

The total number of stores in the three districts of Huanglong shoe market reached 1000, which not only satisfied the requirements of the operators of the city, but also attracted the operators in the surrounding areas of our city to move closer to the market.

In the past 10 years, the largest shoe distributing center in southern Zhejiang has been formed from scratch and from large to large.

To help operators solve this problem, the chamber of Commerce has actively assisted the chemical market management department to build its own fleet, train drivers and set up licensed pport companies.

In November 2006, the "Cheng an dangerous goods pportation company" was formally established, and the operators could entrust the goods to the company for pportation.

The market is bigger and the management difficulty is increasing.

Accidents happen occasionally when shoes are sold.

For those who encounter theft, the chamber of commerce is comforting them while helping them to make up for their losses.

In 2005, 4 members of the chamber of commerce were stolen, with a total loss of about 300000 yuan.

After the incident, the chamber of Commerce came forward to reflect the situation to the shoe market management department. After the market management department verified, it made appropriate compensation to the stolen business operator.

Zhang Weishun said that although the compensation that the chamber of commerce can win for the operators is limited, the comfort to members is unlimited.

There is a special list in the shoe business association, which lists the date of each member's birthday.

Since 2005, whenever the members of the chamber of Commerce have a birthday, the chamber of Commerce will celebrate the birthday of the member.

The number of reporters counted that the number of members born in August alone reached 55.

Member Zheng Xiaogang is one of them, he happily told reporters: "even birthday is concerned, people feel very warm and cordial."

The service and care of the chamber of Commerce have virtually narrowed the distance between the chamber of Commerce and its members, and also made the members feel a strong sense of belonging.

Ni Changxing introduced that at the beginning of the chamber of Commerce, there were only 80 members, and now there are 489 members, of whom 70 are directors and 30 are vice presidents.

The shoe business association has become one of the largest number of chambers of Commerce in the city.
