In recent days, from China Telecom's policy making body, Beijing Institute of China Telecom, insiders told eNet that China Telecom and China Netcom are seeking for internal communication for the nationwide smooth flow of 3G network. It is possible for both sides to jointly manage Cheng Lidi's three party companies to manage the future 3G mobile network.

The Beijing Research Institute of China Telecom, established in April 18, 2001, has been providing decision support, technical support and information support for China Telecom group and its subsidiaries.

At present, many of the major decisions of China Telecom are from there.

Many senior China Telecom group also have the background of Beijing Research Institute.

Therefore, the decision-making of the Institute is of great significance for the future development trend of China Telecom.

In February 1999, the Ministry of information industry decided to separate and reorganize the original China Telecom, China Telecom's paging, satellite and mobile services were stripped out, and the original China Telecom was split into 3 companies, namely, new China Telecom, China Mobile and China satellite communications. In April 1999, the Ministry of information industry was established.

In May 16, 2002, the China Telecom finally decided to split the north and south. Now China Telecom group and China Netcom Group are formally established.

However, because of the North South divide, telecom and Netcom can only rent each other's network in the form of mutual access.

Insiders from the telecom Beijing Institute close to the decision making layer of China Telecom have told reporters that China Telecom and Netcom have not been satisfied with each other for the future 3G network access problem of cross operators.

At present, the two sides still prefer to adopt the solidified cooperation mode and take the form of mutual leasing.

This is probably the smoothest pition.

Recently, however, the Institute has put forward a new plan to China Telecom, that is, telecom and Netcom cooperate to set up a new company to manage the operation of 3G network.

This scheme can effectively avoid conflicts between the two sides, and set up communication barriers for each other.

Thus, the management of the network can be realized through a more independent third party.

But the Institute also has many objections that the scheme will cost a lot. At the same time, when the conflict of interests occurs, the third party companies can really play a decisive role.

But the Institute has recommended the proposal to Telecom Group.

"Anyway, this is indeed a new possibility. I believe the group will seriously consider this plan."
