A number of functions that meet the needs of enterprises, such as rotary vibration protection technology (RVS), can guarantee the hard operation of hard drives in the same range under high speed rotating vibration.

The hard disk can also be interleaved or rotated, allowing the host to activate individual hard disks in the configuration of multiple hard disks and reduce the power required to start the system, so that the system designer can reduce the power supply and minimize the total cost of ownership (CTO) of the end-users.

In order to maintain the reliability of hard disk, Deskstar E7K500 has the option of low power mode to reduce the thermal / cooling demand of the system, and use load / unload ramp mechanism to protect the user's data under power failure.
