Wenzhou Industrial Park Has Built The Largest Leather Tanning Base In China At The Age Of 15.

15 years ago, it was also a beach and pond dry land. 15 years later, it has become a large-scale modern industrial park. It has become an important industrial production base in our city and the largest new economic growth point in Longwan district.

Recently, the Zhejiang Wenzhou Industrial Park held the 15th anniversary report meeting of the construction area.

Zhejiang Wenzhou Industrial Park, formerly known as the Wenzhou poverty alleviation Economic Development Zone, was established by the provincial government on 22 September 1992.

In July 6, 2006, approved by the national development and Reform Commission, the Wenzhou poverty alleviation economic development zone was renamed Zhejiang Wenzhou Industrial Park.

In the past 15 years, the park has accumulated 2.96 square kilometers of development land relying on the location advantages of Wenzhou's urban central area and the eastern coastal area, and the industrial economic aggregate of the park has been growing at an annual rate of more than 20%.

In 2006, the industrial output value was 8 billion 439 million yuan, the industrial and commercial tax revenue was 345 million yuan, and the export delivery value was 1 billion 527 million yuan.

In the 1-8 month of this year, the industrial output value of the park reached 6 billion 95 million yuan, an increase of 23.73% over the same period last year.

Up to now, the park has formed leading industries such as leather making, chemical industry, eyeglasses, stainless steel, clothing, plate making and printing, etc., with 1 Chinese famous brand products and 2 national exemption products.

Among them, the synthetic leather industrial base is the largest leather making base in the country, and synthetic leather products account for 18% of the national market.

In 2006, there were 85 Enterprises above Designated Size, with annual output value exceeding 30 yuan, and the total annual sales value of enterprises reached 8 billion 71 million yuan.
