Jiang Ming, deputy director of the Municipal Economic and Trade Commission, told reporters that in the new energy conservation law, the State encourages industrial enterprises to use highly efficient and energy saving motors, boilers, furnaces, fans, pumps and other equipment, and adopt technologies such as cogeneration, residual heat and residual pressure utilization, clean coal and advanced energy monitoring and control technologies, and clearly stipulates that the key energy consuming units shall submit annual energy utilization reports to the Department in charge of energy conservation each year.

A key energy consuming unit with imperfect energy management system, inefficient implementation of energy saving measures and low energy utilization efficiency will be implemented mandatory energy audit, and written rectification requirements should be submitted for rectification within a specified time.

In July this year, the company will produce an annual production capacity of 2 million 500 thousand square meters for the energy-saving sheet plant put into operation in Yantai.

In terms of industrial energy efficiency, this year, our city will strictly control the entry of projects and accelerate the elimination of backward production capacity, and actively promote new mechanisms such as energy management and clean development.

During the year, we will ensure the completion of the goal and goal of closing 22 vertical kiln cement production lines and 110 thousand kilowatts of small thermal power units. At the same time, we will complete the energy conservation audit work of 110 key energy intensive enterprises, and guide and help enterprises formulate energy saving measures and excavate energy saving potential of 600 thousand tons of standard coal.

In power, metallurgy, building materials and other key industries, we will focus on promoting 20 major energy-saving technologies such as cement, low temperature waste heat power generation, and 20 major energy-saving equipment such as circulating fluidized bed boilers.
