Zhejiang Apparel Industry Wants To Boost Domestic Demand And Emerging Markets
In July 15th, the four four session of the Zhejiang apparel industry association and the provincial garment industry working conference were held in Shaoxing.
The conference discussed how to solve the dilemma in the face of the severe challenges of the garment industry, and how to push forward the industrial reform and bold innovation so as to promote the pformation and upgrading of the garment industry in Zhejiang province.

Feng Dehu, President of Zhejiang garment industry association, thinks that it is not easy for Zhejiang's garment industry to achieve such a result.
In the past 2007, in the change of the national macroeconomic regulation and control policy and the economic situation at home and abroad, the garment industry in Zhejiang overcame all kinds of difficulties, digested the losses caused by many unfavorable factors, and maintained a more balanced development on the whole.
The continuous promotion of brand building has enhanced the added value of the member enterprises of the association, thereby enhancing the industry representativeness of the association. It has played an active role in promoting the structural adjustment and industrial upgrading of the garment industry of Zhejiang province.
Last year, guided by the guidance of government departments such as Zhejiang economic and Trade Commission and provincial Non-governmental Organization Management Bureau, Zhejiang garment industry association persisted in its service tenet, expanded its service areas, and strengthened its own construction. It was awarded the "advanced association" of Zhejiang's economic and trade system for the fourth time in a row.
By the end of 2007, the membership of the association had reached 363.
Feng Dehu introduced that this year, the Zhejiang garment industry association will actively develop alliances among enterprises, enterprises and universities and research institutes, innovate the mechanism of combination of production, learning and research, enhance the technological innovation capability of member enterprises and pform technological achievements into real productive forces, so as to promote the upgrading of Zhejiang's garment industry.
Since 2008, internal and external factors such as inflation caused by subprime lending, global economic recession, rising RMB exchange rate and rising labor costs have greatly increased the difficulty of production and operation of Zhejiang garment enterprises, and tested the survival and operation ability of industries and enterprises.
How to guide enterprises to take the stage of plight has become an urgent task for Zhejiang apparel industry association.
Feng Dehu said that the current difficulties encountered by Zhejiang's clothing industry are both national and temporary. The factors that support China's continued economic growth still exist. The strategy of expanding domestic demand has achieved initial success, and the role of domestic demand in stimulating the economy will become more obvious.
The overall growth of the world economy is still relatively strong. Emerging market countries are becoming an important force to support the global economy. The Chinese economy will also benefit from these emerging markets.
Therefore, with the active expansion and promotion of Zhejiang garment industry association, the better industrial foundation and self-improvement and daring spirit of the garment industry, Zhejiang garment enterprises still have strong competitiveness in the new round of industry reshuffle, and will bring no room for development to enterprises.

How to make Zhejiang garment enterprises continue to develop in a complex and difficult environment, the conference held a Zhejiang fashion forum with the theme of "industrial innovation and development". Based on the actual development of Zhejiang's garment industry, the enterprises in the industry shared and discussed with each other enterprises in Zhejiang to strengthen independent innovation as the starting point to find solutions to current difficulties and promote industrial upgrading.
In the light of the current downturn in textile exports, Cao Xinyu, vice president of the China Textiles Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, said that the current contradiction between the adjustment of industrial structure and the weakness of the international market is the main contradiction in the current textile exports.
This contradiction is directly reflected in the slow development of the new trade protectionism barriers, which can be said that this is a very unfavorable situation for Zhejiang's textile exports.
On the other hand, a large number of new export markets, such as Chile, Australia and other emerging markets, will be the opportunity for Zhejiang's textile exports.
Cao Xinyu suggested that in the face of new opportunities, Zhejiang textile export enterprises should start from themselves and take Scientific Outlook on Development as the guidance to carry out industrial innovation, so as to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises and accurately grasp the positioning of textile export industry, thus promoting the steady and harmonious development of the new round of Zhejiang textile export trade.
Feng Dehu believes that the new round of competition for the theme of science and technology, product R & D, marketing and service innovation has begun in China's apparel industry. In such an environment, the key is to rely on the efforts of the industry and the enterprises themselves, constantly improve the thinking and understanding of independent innovation and industrial upgrading, and take various measures to take the initiative to deal with the challenges.

Wang Zhefeng, President of the French Union of Tun nu (International) group Fashion Co., Ltd., told reporters that the current shuffling stage is both a predicament and a process of survival of the fittest. Only when enterprises continue to innovate and brand continuously improve can they become the last king.
