October Textile And Garment Exports In Hebei
According to the latest statistics of Shijiazhuang customs, in October, the export of textile and clothing increased significantly, and exported 260 million US dollars in the same month, an increase of 34.9% over the same period last year. This is nearly 33 percentage points higher than the lowest level of export growth this year - September. This is the biggest monthly increase this year. Clothing exports increased by 39.8% over the same period last year, the highest point in recent years.
According to analysis, this is related to China's Readjustment of macroeconomic policies and the export rebate rate of textile and clothing. Before that, the growth of textile and clothing exports in our province slowed down due to the increase of RMB exchange rate, the reduction of export tax rebate rate, the increase of raw material and labor prices and the impact of the US financial crisis.
In August, the state adjusted the macroeconomic policy to raise the export rebate rate of textile and clothing and other labor-intensive products, and raised again in November. From the statistics of Shijiazhuang customs, we can see that this macroeconomic policy is positive: in July, the export of our textile and clothing to the European Union dropped to the lowest level in recent years, which increased by only 5.2% compared to the same period last year. The export growth rate to the EU increased by 10% in August; 7, the increase in exports to the US in August was 6% and 5.4%, and September began to pick up; in September, the export of our province's textile and clothing increased by only 2.1% compared with that of last year, and the growth rate of the same year increased to 34.9%.
In addition, the rapid growth of private enterprises' exports is the main force to promote the growth of textile and clothing exports in the province.
