Not long ago, representatives of nearly ten textile and garment enterprises in Shishi visited several ASEAN countries. After returning to China, an inspectors pointed out that the establishment of the China ASEAN free trade area is an opportunity for domestic light industry products to outweigh challenges.
He analyzed that at present, affected by the financial tsunami, Europe and the United States and other places greatly reduced the purchasing power. Many export enterprises in Quanzhou are facing difficulties and are in urgent need of finding new export markets. ASEAN will be a good window for them to enter the overseas market.

More and more Quanzhou sewing machine enterprises took a look at Southeast Asian market and set off a wave of "gold rush" to Southeast Asia. Many companies renamed the former Ministry of foreign trade to the international trade department and recruits large numbers.
Some economists expect Burma to face a tropical storm last year, which will require $1 billion in reconstruction funds. In the next few years, the ASEAN region will create a rare scale in terms of infrastructure restoration, hotel industry construction and civil housing reconstruction. It is much less convenient to ask questions in English or Chinese than in Min Nan dialect."

Analysts believe that in some Southeast Asian countries, some countries' policies and regulations are not perfect. Enterprises should have an in-depth understanding and step up familiarity with the market and its system.
A clothing business person said that although some areas in Southeast Asia do have comparative advantages in labor and land, labor efficiency is not necessarily high. Compared with similar products in Europe, the US and Japan, Quanzhou construction machinery accessories have great advantages in terms of cost performance, according to the manager of Overseas Development Department of a construction machinery company in Quanzhou.
General manager of a clothing company, Ding general, said: "Vietnamese enterprises can attract foreign buyers at lower prices and faster export procedures. This is especially evident in the low-end shoe market. Most of our company's low price orders have been pferred to Vietnam in the past two years.
For gold rush Southeast Asia, experts think: "talent localization become the first important point, lack of talents will be the biggest problem of Quanzhou brand overseas expansion." In addition, how to adapt the local market and how to realize the localization of brand is also a problem.
