Remember: Understand The Boss'S Words.
I am a human resources director of a joint venture. 5 years of work experience have made me realize that apart from working ability, learning to understand the boss's voice is also an important part of promotion.
Do not believe it?
My experience is proof.
At a time when the boss talked to me, he first boasted of my good performance, thought I could take a heavier duty, but also said that the recent recession, a sharp decline in profit than last year, asked me if I would consider layoffs if I was the head of the Department.
At that time, I was stunned, and I immediately said no, because many of my colleagues were born and died together.
I remember when the boss changed his face. Later, my colleague was promoted to the position of head of department.
After that, I realized that the boss meant to lay off workers. If I did not think about it on the basis of personal feelings, but from the perspective of enterprise development, then I would be promoted.
After having learned this lesson, I learned more thoughts and began to learn to listen to the boss's words without violating his principles of being a man.
Once the boss went to Europe on business, before he asked me, "is there any problem between your English and foreigners?"
Although I am not so confident in English, I understand the boss's subtext. If I can go to Europe with him, if I can, then I will say no problem. Indeed, I have the chance to do this business, and I will go home to fill in the gaps in English.
When we were in Italy with our boss, we visited some of our old customers. The boss was obviously interested in one of the customers, but the price was a little high.
He asked me in an advisory tone that I gave him a very good answer and worth buying.
In fact, I know that the boss has made the decision to buy. He came to ask just to make sure that I could not sweep him up.
Sure enough, the boss signed up with the company cheerfully.
Many times, listen to your boss's words, contact his front words, look at his expression, you can know what his voice is.
This time I tasted the sweetness of obedience - after I returned home, I was promoted to the position of supervisor.
