    Zhao Xia studied tourism as a professional student. After graduation, he went to a five star hotel in Hainan for 5 years as a front desk treasurer, and then returned to Ji'nan as a treasurer in the same level hotel.

    Two years ago, Zhao Xia switched to human resources, until now he has become the head of HR and has become the top management of the company.

    Nowadays, Zhao Xia, who is often disturbed by headhunters, says that his three major workplace changes are related to continuous charging. "It can be said that it is charging that makes me absorb nutrition and ultimately promotes my career development."

    Learning to travel to finance

    Q: you are a tourism major. How did you start your finance after work?

    Zhao Xia: I went to Kunlun hotel in Beijing for three months during my study, which enriched my experience and financial work.

    After graduation, I went to Teide Hotel in Hainan. This is the first five star hotel in Hainan, where I was officially exposed to finance, and for 5 years, I have been the treasurer of the hotel's cashier.

    Q: after all, tourism and finance are two different specialties. How do you become familiar with new jobs as soon as possible?

    Zhao Xia: learning by doing is mainly through the charging way to adapt to the new job as soon as possible.

    In fact, I have never given up studying. During the 5 years, I taught myself and obtained the diploma of two majors in tourism and finance, because my first degree is secondary technical school. I think we must improve our education as much as possible. What is more important is that practical work requires you to have relevant professional knowledge, otherwise you can not be competent.

    I have always advocated charging on the job, learning by doing, and fully combining charging with what I do.

    Therefore, I feel that charging can not be blind, such as a popular certificate to follow suit, pay attention to practicality, otherwise it is just a large number of certificates, the ability has not been improved, still can not enhance their competitiveness in the workplace.

    Two jump from treasurer to HR Supervisor

    Q: working in Hainan for 5 years, why did you choose to come back?

    Zhao Xia: I am a Jinan people. I always feel that the north, especially Ji'nan, is more suitable for me. I like this place better. After all, this is a place I grew up from, and I am very familiar with the local customs, and everything here makes me feel very cordial.

    Q: what about career development after returning to Ji'nan?

    Zhao Xia: I came back in 2001, when I entered an upscale hotel and continued to be the treasurer of my old bank.

    At the end of second, I found that it was very difficult for me to make a big breakthrough in finance.

    So I switched to another hotel to do HR..

    Q: is it stressful to be an almost completely unknown position?

    Zhao Xia: Yes, of course.

    At that time, HR was very strange to me. In order to adapt to the new job as soon as possible, I thought of charging again.

    I attended a HR training course in the Labor Department of Shandong province. There was no certificate in this class, but I gained a lot. Especially, dozens of colleagues exchanged with each other, plus teachers' guidance, which greatly enriched my knowledge and broadened my horizons.

    Later, I took part in the training of the national human resource division and successfully obtained the intermediate qualification certificate. At present, I am preparing for the senior HR qualification examination.

    Q: what are the advantages of women working in HR?

    Zhao Xia: women have strong affinity and patience. This is the advantage of female HR.

    Women are generally not too tough, which is very important for HR work.

    You are faced with the employees of the company. For example, when they make a mistake, they can not solve the problem simply and hard. They can only do their ideological work patiently and carefully, so that he can truly understand the mistakes and how to avoid committing them again, in order to make him more mature.

    What is the disadvantage of Q?

    Zhao Xia: women sometimes pay too much attention to details, but tend to overlook the whole and the overall situation, or the overall concept is not as strong as that of men.

    In addition, lack of flexibility is also a shortage of women.

    Q: I heard that you are not only responsible for HR work, but also in other aspects of the company's management.

    Zhao Xia: at the very beginning, I was mainly responsible for HR, including training, recruitment, salary and so on. Now I am also responsible for the operation of the whole club, including the promotion of operation and daily affairs.

    I have two different business cards, one is the personnel manager, the other is the operation manager.

    In order to better carry out the work, I will give different business cards on different occasions.

    Zhao Xia: Yes, I have been changing my role in the workplace.

    The fitness industry is a sunrise industry. My interest in it is also here, but I will encounter new problems that I did not have in my work. For example, I don't know much about nutrition, sports and fitness, so I need to replenish it in time.

    Now, I am going to get a certificate from a dietitian.

    Q: some people complain that they are too busy to study. How do you allocate your time?

    Zhao Xia: indeed, women can not only play a good role in the workplace, but also do housewives.

    I now spend one or two hours a day reading and studying, and I have one or two books in my bag. I have to turn over a few pages in time, such as reading by bedtime, and browsing the Internet regularly.
