In the case of registered trademarks, the majority of enterprises should pay attention to the provisions of the trademark law which prohibit the use of trademark registration.

(1) the same or similar literature and graphics with the name of the country, the national flag, the national emblem, the military flag and the medal of the People's Republic of China.

(2) the same or similar words and figures with the foreign countries' names, national flags and national emblem.

(3) the same or similar words and figures with the flag, emblem, or name of an international organization.

(4) letters and figures with the same or similar names as "Red Cross" or "Red Crescent".

The general name and graphics of this commodity.

(6) characters and graphics that directly represent the quality, main raw materials, functions, uses, weight, quantity and other characteristics of the commodity.

Text and graphics with ethnic discrimination.

Exaggerated propaganda and deceptive words and graphics.

Words and figures that are harmful to socialist morality or other harmful effects.

The place names at or above the county level, or the foreign geographical names which the public knows, shall not be used as trademarks. Except for other names, the trademarks registered with the place names shall continue to be valid.
