According to Wang Yue, executive director of the mass procession headquarters of the National Day 60th anniversary, the mass parade takes the review of the history of struggle, history of entrepreneurship and history of reform and opening up by the Chinese people of all ethnic groups as the main line. With the theme of "advancing with the motherland", the design is divided into three chapters and seven parts, namely, "ideological articles", "achievement articles" and "future chapters".

Portraits, and the slogan of slogans in the square, run through the whole process of mass parade, including Mao Zedong thought, Deng Xiaoping theory, the important thought of "Three Represents" and the brilliant idea of Scientific Outlook on Development. The achievement articles, including fifth parts of the parade and the sixth part of Splendid China, will fully display the great achievements of all walks of life, all fronts and regions in China, and demonstrate the excellent situation of China's political stability, economic development, cultural prosperity, social progress, national unity, comprehensive national strength and international influence. The "future chapter" is the seventh part of the procession, "beautiful future", which will show the brilliant prospect of building a successor of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The "thought chapter" includes the first to fourth parts of the parade, such as struggle and entrepreneurship, reform and opening up, century spanning and scientific development. The procession will showcase Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao.

The celebration of the Tiananmen square will be celebrated at the scene. The 56 pillars of the national unity column are on both sides of the square. 60 red lanterns are hanging over the square. The large slogans on the south side of the square are eye-catching. The large electronic display screens on both sides of the square will show the grand ceremony.

The mass parade will be followed by a grand parade, starting with a guard of honor consisting of two squares, the national flag and the national day, the year and the national emblem.

Along with the magnificent red flag song, 1949 youths will take the biggest five-star red flag in the history of the National Day parade in front of the parade, followed by the 2009 National Emblem surrounded by youth.

The four parts of struggle and entrepreneurship, reform and opening up, century spanning and scientific development will be launched one after another.
