Henan Institute Of Engineering

Henan Institute of Engineering was approved by the Ministry of education and the people's Government of Henan in 2007 3. It was a general undergraduate college established by the former Zhengzhou Academy for Economical Administration and Henan Textile College.

The former Zhengzhou Academy for Economical Administration and Henan Textile College have more than 50 years of running history.

Over the past few decades, the two schools, relying on the two traditional pillar industries of Henan, the coal industry and the textile industry, have trained a large number of engineering, technical and managerial personnel for the local industry and the textile industry.

Both schools have won the title of "provincial civilized units", "provincial civilized schools", "advanced units of employment work for graduates of Henan polytechnic schools", and "advanced units of national social practice for college students".

The newly established Henan Institute of Engineering is divided into four campuses. The school headquarters and the south campus are located in the hometown of Xuanyuan, Longhu Town, Xinzheng, Zhengzhou, with Tongbai Road Campus and Nanyang Road Campus in Zhengzhou.

The campus covers an area of 2668 Mu and a building area of about 600000 square meters.

The Institute has more than 25300 students.

A total of 16 undergraduate majors and 75 specialist specialties were offered.

At present, we have initially formed a school running pattern based on the combination of work and study, industry and management, and the coordinated development of Humanities and Social Sciences, and have formed 7 professional disciplines, such as light industry, textile, electrical information, machinery, environmental safety, geology and mineral resources, business administration and art.

The Institute has 994 full-time teachers, including 59 professors, 276 associate professors, 525 people with doctorate and master's degrees.

The Institute has perfect teaching facilities, teaching instruments and equipment totaling 101 million 230 thousand yuan, 1 million 487 thousand books of library books, electronic books 1670GB, 128 school laboratories, 1 subsidiary teaching practice factories, 164 stable training bases for off campus practice, multimedia demonstration rooms, computing centers, practice workshops, gymnasiums, indoor swimming pools, stadiums and student activity centers.

A good educational environment and conditions provide a solid foundation for the further development of the Institute.
