Analysis Of Five Major Problems Faced By Women Entrepreneurship
Be satisfied with the existing state of affairs and reluctant to move forward
Lack of entrepreneurial desire in a random sample survey, 50.1% of women said they did not think about starting a business at all, some of them were satisfied with the living situation, and did not want to change; others were afraid of taking risks; others were cozy and afraid of hardship; others preferred to eat minimum allowances, do nothing to fight small cards, and did not want to start their own businesses.
Entrepreneurship often requires breaking the existing order of life, taking risks and sacrificing spirit. Women are influenced by traditional ideas and lack the desire and impulse to start businesses. Compared with men, it is more difficult for them to take the first step of starting a business.
In the survey, women had a 4.6 percentage point lower than men who had entrepreneurial intentions.
Insufficient venture capital
At present, most female entrepreneurs in Nanjing are laid-off workers, some new immigrants and a few college graduates who have just failed to graduate.
The initial funds of their businesses often come from the accumulation of personal and family labor and business income, or they are raised through bank loans and private lending.
In our survey, 71.7% of women think that "capital shortage" is the first factor affecting self employment. Of the women who failed in entrepreneurship, 29.1% suffered from "Waterloo" because of shortage of funds.
Although the relevant departments can provide "small loans", but cumbersome procedures, security difficulties, it is not easy to do.
It is difficult for a skilled woman to make bricks without straw. Without funds, good ideas and good new technologies can hardly be turned into real productive forces.
Sexualgender discrimination
Public opinion is unfair to women's entrepreneurship. Women entrepreneurs are often stereotyped as "strong women" or are considered "restless women".
In the survey, only 30.9% of the total number of respondents was appreciated, and 41.5% of respondents wanted the society to treat women entrepreneurs fairly.
19.6% of the respondents showed that women had sex discrimination in their entrepreneurship, and 18.2% of them believed that public opinion was unfair to women.
Public opinion discrimination against entrepreneurial women has seriously affected women's enthusiasm for entrepreneurship. 58.7% of female entrepreneurs call for a more relaxed environment and more equitable treatment for women.
Influence of traditional ideas
There are psychological weaknesses in women's entrepreneurship. According to the results of psychological research, men and women have different needs for achievement. The key to motivate men to pursue their achievements is "competition". Women's motives are "social acceptance". In addition, traditional concepts and physiological factors of "men and women, women in the house" make women have a sense of dependence and inferiority in their entrepreneurship.
Many women prefer to teach their sons and daughters instead of creating new businesses.
Even women entrepreneurs who have successfully started their business still take heavy burdens on their families as their responsibilities.
Market competition is not standardized.
It is difficult for women to start their own businesses. China is still in the stage of pition from planned economy to market economy. Market economy has its own advantages and its inherent negative effects, such as unjust pursuit of value and sacrifice of value for value.
In the field of operation, there are also disorderly competition, lack of integrity and moral anomie.
In a sample survey conducted by the Federation of industry and Commerce in Nanjing, only 37.7% of private entrepreneurs believe that the market order is better at present, and the establishment of a fair market order is listed as the greatest expectation of entrepreneurs for government support.
Under such circumstances, women shoulder two burdens of career and family. It is hard for them to have more energy to socialize and deal with various relationships.
