Brief Introduction Of Cotton Knitted Underwear Standard

GB/T 8878-2009 "cotton knitted underwear" has been approved by the State Administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine and the National Standardization Management Committee, and has been implemented since December 1, 2009.

The standard specifies the classification, size and specifications, requirements, inspection rules, rules of determination, product instructions, packaging, pportation and storage of cotton knitted underwear.

The main contents of the standard include: normative reference documents, product classification, size and specification, requirements (requirements, content classification, internal quality requirements, appearance quality requirements), inspection rules (sampling quantity, appearance quality inspection conditions, test methods), determination rules, product instructions, packaging, pportation and storage.

This standard replaces GB/T 8878-2002 "cotton knitted underwear".

The new and old standards are changed as follows:

1, the internal quality assessment items increase the ability to decompose aromatic amine dyes and water fastness.

2, modify the assessment method of size difference.

3, increase the bursting strength test method, the diameter of the ball is (38 + 0.02) mm;

4, simplify the content of sewing regulations;

5. The test method of color fastness to soaping is changed from method 3 to color fastness to soaping A (1).
