In 1-3, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Chengdu reached 59 billion 50 million yuan, an increase of 18.9% over the same period last year. Sales of daily necessities, sports and entertainment products, electronic publications and audio-visual products, household appliances and audio-visual equipment and Chinese and Western medicines increased steadily. Food, communication, automobile, furniture and architectural decorations, clothing shoes and hats, cosmetics and jewellery and jewellery were growing rapidly.
