The First Grassland Science And Educational Film "Protecting Grassland" Was Launched In May 19Th.

Recently, the science and education film "protecting grassland" jointly produced by the animal husbandry department of the Ministry of agriculture, the grassland supervision center of the Ministry of agriculture and the China agricultural film and Television Center was launched in the beautiful Horqin grassland of Inner Mongolia.

Our country has 6 billion mu of grassland, accounting for 41.7% of its land area. It is the largest green ecological barrier in China.

The protection of grassland is of great significance for economic and social development, maintaining stability in the border areas and promoting national unity.

The film "protect grassland" aims at making the whole society understand and care about the grassland, create a good atmosphere for protecting the grasslands, and promote the construction of ecological civilization.

The film is the first high-definition science film based on grassland in China. It will be a dedicated film of 90th anniversary of the birthday of the Communist Party of China and 10th anniversary in the development of the Western China.

Based on the protection of national ecological security, the film introduces the important role of grassland in preventing wind and fixing sand, conserving water sources, purifying air, reducing carbon emissions and maintaining biodiversity. Based on reflecting the production and life of ethnic minorities in pastoral areas, this paper introduces the importance of grassland in developing pastoral economy, safeguarding national unity, safeguarding border stability and promoting social harmony. Based on the achievements of grassland protection and construction, it introduces the important achievements, advanced experience, modern technology and outstanding models of grassland protection and construction in recent years.

It is reported that the "protection Grassland" film crew will walk tens of thousands of kilometers along Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu, Ningxia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces, and will complete the location shooting by the end of September.
