Textile and garment machinery
The economic situation of the industry is as clear as the sky.
In view of the 130% increase in orders for the first quarter of this year, the German textile and Clothing Machinery Association (VDMA) predicted that this year's sales volume of German textile and garment machinery will increase by 30% to 35% over 2009.
Mr. FritzP.Mayer, President of the German textile and Garment Machinery Association and the director general of Carle Mayer, said: "after two years of difficulty, the textile and garment machinery manufacturers in Germany are gradually optimistic about the future."
This favorable economic situation also took place in 2010 China International Textile and garment machinery, which was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center on June 22, 2010 -26.
Exhibition
The German exhibitors of the ITMA Asia exhibition are reflected.
The German Pavilion has 105 companies and is the largest exhibition group in the European textile and Garment Machinery Association.
All the well-known German textile and garment machinery manufacturers will appear at this exhibition in Shanghai and show innovative textile and garment production technology.
In 2008 and 2009, German textile and garment machinery enterprises had undergone a significant decline in production and export.
After hitting the bottom in the first quarter of 2009, orders increased significantly in the fourth quarter of 2009.
As a result, exports were also optimistic, with exports reaching 555 million euros in the last quarter of 2009.
In the past January and February of 2010, the export volume of textile and garment machinery has reached 533 million euros. Therefore, even with conservative estimates, exports will increase significantly in the first quarter.
In 2009, the export of German textile and garment machinery 55% was exported to Asia by 1 billion 800 million euros.
Only two largest markets - China and India import German textile and garment machinery and their components to 628 million euros and 161 million euros respectively.
In January 2010 and February, the textile machinery exported to China reached 83 million euros, an increase of 37% over the same period last year.
In addition to the Chinese market, other Asian markets also showed an active market: Iran imported German textile and garment machinery and spare parts 6 million 800 thousand euros, an increase of 50%; Thailand imported 4 million 100 thousand euros, an increase of 42%; Vietnam imported 1 million 700 thousand euros, an increase of 35%; Bangladesh imported 2 million 700 thousand euros, an increase of 8%.
