By the three parties of Nantong University, Nanjing Arts Institute and Jiangsu violet Home Textiles Co., Ltd., the first graduate school of Jiangsu province has been set up in Jiangsu's violet Home Textiles Co., Ltd. In May 14, 2010, from Nantong University graduate school, Art Institute, Nanjing Arts Institute School of design, Nantong science and Technology Bureau and violet home textiles related leaders and experts, the opening ceremony of Jiangsu graduate enterprise workstation was held at Wenfeng hotel in Nantong.

The postgraduate workstation was set up by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of education in 2009 issued the notice on carrying out the accreditation of postgraduate workstations of Jiangsu enterprises (Sujiao Yan (2009) 14), and was approved by Jiangsu provincial education department in February 2010 (Sujiao Yan (2010) 1). Its establishment was supported by Nantong municipal government, Nantong University, Nanjing Arts Institute and Jiangsu violet Home Textiles Co., Ltd. The postgraduate workstation will give full play to the research advantages of the Academy in the home textile art design field and the rich practical experience of the enterprise in the production and marketing of home textile products, so that both schools and enterprises can achieve mutual benefits and complementarity, further enhance the teaching and research level of the home textile art design, strengthen the scientific research capability of enterprises, and implement the local economic construction of colleges and universities.

The main work of postgraduate workstation is as follows: 1. Joint training of high level home textile and art talents with the combination of industry, University and research; 2, schools and enterprises jointly carry out the research on the style design of violet home textiles brand; 3, improve the R & D level of the art design of violet home textiles.
