Yunnan Farmers Seek Profits From Industrialization Of Hemp And Hemp
The hemp industry is one of the characteristic biological industries supported by the Yunnan provincial Party committee and the provincial government. It is a key research and support industry of the General Logistics Department of the PLA. It is one of the "six pillar industries" that Xishuangbanna aims to cultivate and expand in order to increase farmers' income, increase their financial growth and enhance their efficiency. It is also a strategic measure for Xishuangbanna state committee and state government to implement Scientific Outlook on Development, implement the strategy of "biological rich state" and speed up the development of mountain areas, and is a new industry that benefits the country, the people and the army.
Not long ago, the reporters went to Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, and saw that the local hemp planting and processing center had formed, which had favorable conditions for further development.
In the survey, the reporter found that the introduction of strong textile and garment enterprises, the use of innovative scientific and technological achievements to create a new type of agricultural planting and industrial processing industry chain, is an important experience in the success of the project.
Introducing textile enterprises to promote agricultural development
The introduction of strong strategic investment leading enterprises is the motive force and core to promote and promote the development of hemp industry.
In the early stage of scientific planting of hemp in Xishuangbanna, 7 enterprises were imported from Beijing, Shanghai and Ningbo. They invested 20 million yuan to form Xishuangbanna Yunma Industrial Co., Ltd., and later, Ningbo Yi Ke Technology and YOUNGOR group entered 200 million yuan of funds, reorganized the company into "hemp industry Klc Holdings Ltd", and started construction of hemp fiber processing plant 5000 tons in Xishuangbanna Menghai Industrial Park.
At present, the first phase of the project has been put into operation. The factory covers an area of 21.8667 mu, with a construction area of 16 thousand and 934 square meters, and a comprehensive investment of 150 million yuan. The annual production of hemp fiber is 2000 tons, and the production and processing value of the enterprise is 120 million yuan.
The pilot plant has successfully developed a continuous automatic production line processing equipment by adopting new technologies, such as fresh stem and stalk separation, mechanical degumming, biological degumming, fiber washing, rapid penetration, carding and carding, combing and separating, etc., and has successfully produced cotton type loose fiber which is suitable for pure hemp and 80 or more ramie cotton blended products above 60 public branches, and has achieved a major breakthrough in the upgrading of hemp products.
According to the agreement of the second phase of the 3000 year hemp fiber extension project signed by the Klc Holdings Ltd and the Xishuangbanna government at the provincial bioindustry conference this year, the scale of production can reach 5000 tons of hemp fiber and the total value of production and processing is more than 280 million yuan.
Industrialization benefits farmers
Last year, the hemp industry entered the key period of industrialization development. Xishuangbanna Prefecture planted 20 thousand and 100 mu of hemp, 9 villages and towns, 42 village committees, 206 villagers' groups, 5174 households, and nearly 4 mu per household. The total output reached 1000 tons, reaching 1139.1 tons. The total income of the farmers was 12 million 530 thousand yuan. The average yield per mu reached 56.6 kilograms. The output value of the Mu was 622.6 yuan, the highest yield per kilogram reached 56.6 yuan, the output value reached $8 yuan, and the average household income of seeds was more than RMB yuan.
According to the statistics provided by the local government departments, there were 27 households with a monthly income of more than 15 thousand yuan in the last 4 months, 113 households with more than 10 thousand yuan, 123 households with more than 8000 yuan, 466 households with more than 5000 yuan, and 270 households with 4000 yuan or more.
For example, 9499.5 mu of hemp was planted in Meng song Township, with an average yield of 61.7 kg, an average yield of 678.7 yuan, and an average household income of 3293.8 yuan. The 16 families of Lahu people in the village of Xiao Lu in the village of LV Lu, with 89 hectares of Hannah, were selling 9174.42 kg of hemp. The average yield per unit area was 103.07 kg, and the output value of 103.07 yuan was 1133.77 yuan. The Han nationality households in the Dazhai village and the Lahu group in the South Wen group were planted with Hmong acres and acres respectively, and the output amounts to tons and tons respectively. The sales income of the hemp skin was respectively RMB yuan and Yuan Yuan, and the average income of the households was over RMB yuan.
Through the development of hemp industry, the middle and high-altitude mountainous areas of Xishuangbanna have received substantial benefits and become the main source of income for local farmers.
At the same time, in order to improve the multiple cropping index and soil fertility, Xishuangbanna prefecture has launched nearly 100 mu of post harvest autumn soybean planting (soya bean and pea) demonstration work, achieving two crops a year, and further increasing the income of farmers.
Objective of development of hemp industry
Li Jun, director of the Agriculture Bureau of Xishuangbanna, told reporters that in 2010, the state planned to grow 40 thousand mu of hemp and 2500 tons of dry hemp yield, which led to the development of 20 thousand mu in the province. The output of dry hemp reached 1000 tons, basically meeting the demand of raw materials for 2000 tons of fiber production, and the processing value reached 120 million yuan.
Li Jun said that the State Agriculture Bureau will strive to promote the construction of the hemp industry demonstration base, improve the industrial development policies and measures, and develop the hemp industry according to the industrial management mode of "company + base + farmer".
At the same time, we should tackle key technologies such as planting winter fallow fields, comprehensive utilization of raw materials, separating fresh stems and stems, and strengthening scientific and technological innovation.
Supporting planting companies, planting villages and planting large families to accelerate the expansion of planting area.
Li Jun believes that the "12th Five-Year" period is the key stage for accelerating the development of hemp industry.
He introduced that in 2012, the state planned to grow 80 thousand mu of hemp, and the output of dry hemp reached 6000 tons, which led to the development of 50 thousand mu in the province, and the output of dry hemp reached 4000 tons, which basically met the demand for 5000 tons of fiber production raw materials after the two phase expansion.
By 2015, the development of 150 thousand mu in the state, the output of dry hemp skin exceeded 12 thousand tons, and the processing value of the enterprises reached more than 280 million yuan, so that the 5000 tons of fiber materials after the expansion could be realized in the state, and it would make positive contributions to the rapid development of the hemp industry in the whole province and the whole country.

Hemp is a treasure, its biological output per unit time is 3~4 times that of trees, CO2 absorption rate is 4 times that of forests, and it is a very high yield fiber crop.
At present, the hemp industry has initially formed 14 industrial chains from agricultural planting, fiber processing, textile, chemical industry, paper making, viscose, wood plastic, automobile interior decoration, new building materials, composite materials, food health care, medicine, activated carbon, machinery and equipment, and so on. There are more than 3000 kinds of products, which are important strategic resources for regeneration, environmental protection and sustainable development.
At present, the United States, Canada, China, Japan, India, Germany, Australia, South Korea and other countries are studying the multipurpose development and utilization of hemp. The potential market of comprehensive utilization is huge, which has been regarded as the dominant crop in twenty-first Century by the developed countries.
