There are obvious creases in artificial silk after loosening, and the creases are difficult to restore.

Although nylon silk has creases, it can also be restored to its original state, so it must not be deceived by its false appearance.

4. Tensile test.

A few fibers are drawn at the edge of the fabric and moistened with the tongue. If it is easy to break at the wetting place, it is artificial silk. If it is not broken at the wetting place, it is pure silk, such as the strength of the fiber in dry and wet condition is very good, and it is not easy to break the nylon filament or polyester filament.

5, listen to the sound of friction.

Because silk has a sericin protection against rubbing, the dry silk fabric will give off a sound when rubbing against each other, commonly known as "silk" or "Silk singing", while other chemical products are silent.
