Shaanxi Textile Realized Its First Profit In Eight Years

In order to promote the healthy development of Shaanxi's textile industry, the Shaanxi provincial government formulated the specific implementation plan last year according to the State Council's "textile industry adjustment and revitalization plan". After more than a year's efforts, structural adjustment and technological progress of the textile industry have achieved remarkable results. In 2009, Shaanxi textile industry above scale enterprises completed industrial output value of 10 billion 912 million yuan, an increase of 10.47%; the annual sales of 10 billion 91 million yuan, an increase of 15.01%. The leading leaders of the Shaanxi provincial Party committee and the provincial government attach great importance to the promotion of traditional textile industry. In May 18th this year, Zhao Leji took part in the foundation laying ceremony of Xi'an Textile Group's new factory area, and put forward new requirements for the construction of Xi'an modern textile and Garment Industrial Park. Provincial Party committee deputy secretary, governor Yuan Chunqing and provincial Party committee member, Xi'an municipal Party committee secretary Sun Qingyun and other provinces and cities leading comrades also visited Xi'an Textile Industrial Park and textile enterprises for many times, giving attention to the adjustment and revitalization of textile industry planning and implementation. Private enterprises have played an important role in the restructuring of state-owned enterprises. The pattern of state-owned cotton enterprises in Shaanxi province has changed radically. In recent years, Jingdong textile has acquired many cotton spinning enterprises such as Jingyang cotton mill, Shaanxi thirteenth cotton mill and Shaanxi Guanghua cotton mill. Shaanxi Fengtai textile has acquired the Chenggu Textile General Factory and two cotton spinning enterprises in Shihezi, Xinjiang. Shaanxi three Xin Industrial Group acquired Weinan textile mill and Tongchuan cotton textile mill. Shaanxi Zhenhua cotton textile company also extended its contacts to Xinjiang. According to introduction, the employees of the purchased enterprises have been resettled and production has been restored. The technological transformation of these enterprises is already in progress.

Implementing the project driven strategy is the core task of implementing the implementation plan. Last year, Shaanxi Vietnam red textile limited liability company invested 77 million 950 thousand yuan to build second phase 30 thousand spindles and 54 air-jet looms for technical transformation projects. Jun Dong textile (Jing Yang) Co., Ltd. invested 30 thousand yuan for combing technical renovation and extension projects invested by 78 million 980 thousand yuan, and 16 textile special funds supporting projects for construction of 150 thousand spindles production line invested by 420 million yuan in Chenggu County Fengtai Textile Co., Ltd. started construction in succession, and some projects have now been completed and put into operation. It is understood that 43 key textile projects identified last year by Shaanxi provincial industrial and commercial office last year reached a total investment of 5 billion 100 million yuan, with an annual sales revenue of 7 billion 500 million yuan and 19 thousand new jobs.

In the process of structural adjustment, knitted, bedding, printing and dyeing, silk weaving and other industries have been recovered quickly, and the industrial chain has been further extended. The silk industry has seized the opportunity of "east to West shift" project, eliminated backward production capacity, improved and extended the industrial chain, expanded industrial advantages, and increased the production scale of high-grade silk fabrics and silk. Ankang Bashan silk Co., Ltd. newly added home textile production line, Shaanxi Tianxin silk twister yarn project and Shaanxi Tiancheng silk Co., Ltd. silk project was put into operation and effectively extended the industrial chain.

At the same time, the silk industry is focusing on the development of sericultural professional cooperatives and the cultivation of leading enterprises in the industry, and constantly promotes the integrated mode of cocoon, silk, trade, industry and agriculture. Last year, Shaanxi province produced 3100 tons of white silk and double Palace silk, and produced more than 60 thousand beds of silk, and output reached a record high. According to the income of silkworm farmers selling cocoons, the comprehensive utilization of silkworm and cocoon silk resources and the wage income of reeling enterprises, the annual silkworm industry has brought 640 million yuan to farmers.

Clothing has become the second largest textile industry in Shaanxi, and its share in the entire textile industry will double. In 2008, the total industrial output value of garments in the province accounted for 10% of the total textile industry. Last year, under the impetus of Weizhi, seven sheep and golden wing and other key garment enterprises, the scale of production of many garment enterprises has been expanding. The proportion of garments in the entire textile industry has reached 15%, the total industrial output value has increased by 51.5%, and the profit has increased by 442.53%. This year, the implementation of the technological transformation projects of 7 key garment enterprises and the shift of garment industry to the central and western regions bring new opportunities for the development of the whole industry. At present, the production and sales of all enterprises are flourishing, and the whole industry presents a good momentum of sustained and accelerated development.
