It is understood that in some factories, a skilled worker can take care of 8 numerical control looms. A loom can knit 10 sweaters in 8 hours, and 8 looms can come down to 80 pieces a day.

In this way, the labor productivity of the weaving machine has increased by nearly 20 times after using the numerical control loom.

Lin Xifang, a member of the Dalang Town Committee, revealed that at present, there are more than 6000 CNC looms in Dalang. The town's key support enterprises have all used CNC looms.

It is expected that the number of CNC looms will reach more than 7000 this year, and over 80% of woollen weaving enterprises above Designated Size will be using CNC looms.

Lin Xifang said that using modern information technology to upgrade the woolen weaving industry is not only because of the high efficiency of CNC looms.

He said that the increase in labor costs, the difficulty of recruiting workers, and the increasing demands of buyers for wool patterns, and the fact that many looms of hand looms do not make it necessary to upgrade.

It is reported that after vigorously promoting the numerical control loom, the gross export volume of Dalang's woollen goods increased by 37.1% in 2009, and the total export volume of Dalang increased by 2.4%.

In the first quarter of this year, the performance of Da Long Mao was even more popular. The gross industrial output value of wool weaving enterprises above Designated Size reached 1 billion 756 million yuan, up 97.41% over the same period last year.

Upgrading is not just about machines.

Does the machine upgrade indicate that Lin Xifang has completed the industrial pformation and upgrading? The Dalang Town Committee member said that the company did not just upgrade the machine. Now, the big woolen weaving enterprise will launch 300~500 new styles of woollen products every quarter, and the design strength will also be improved.

It is understood that at present, more than 80% of the above 125 wool weaving enterprises in Dalang have design departments or R & D departments, and there are more than 1300 senior and middle designers. In 2009, the design of sweaters by Da long woolen enterprises reached 200 thousand.

"Design and brand," Lin said. In 2002 and 2003, the Dalang government had mobilized enterprises to declare their brands. At that time, 5 enterprises were mobilized, but none of them reported their brands.

He said that this situation has changed since 2007, and now many enterprises have strengthened their brand awareness and began to take the initiative to report cards.

For the importance of design and brand, Chen Juan, vice-president of Fashion Exchange Association of Paris law and guest professor of Hongkong Fashion Institute, has a deep feeling.

She said that ten years ago in Dalang, every household was doing wool weaving, but each piece of woolen goods sold for only twenty or thirty yuan, and the profit was poor.

At that time, the Dalang government, which realized the importance of the brand, began to establish the R & D Center for woollen products, and hired a famous designer, Chen Juan, as deputy director, and began to support the design and development of the large wool weaving enterprise.

The engine of enterprise development

Xie Jinbo said that the government does not earn a penny for R & D center, and the R & D center is purely for the enterprise service, and is the "engine" of enterprise development.

It is understood that the R & D center provides three kinds of services for enterprises, one is outsourcing design for enterprises without R & D teams, the other two is training for enterprises with insufficient strength of R & D teams, and three is for ordering services for enterprises.

Chen Juan said that the training center of Da LAN textile research and development center is free of charge, mainly imparting the trend of spring, summer, autumn and winter, and pmitting the popular colors, styles and other information to enterprises.

The R & D center takes special care of Dalang enterprises in terms of style export, and foreign enterprises purchase about 3000 yuan each. The key support of Dalang enterprises is 500 yuan per purchase.

In addition to the "engine" of the wool research and development center, Dalang has invested about 50000000 yuan to build a high-end fashion design gathering area with many functions including R & D, design, display, exchange and sale. At present, the cluster has introduced 6 institutions such as Guangdong University of Technology to implement 10 local advantages.

Today, Dalang has been listed as the only "China sweater fashion trend publishing base" by the China Fashion Color Association. It has been listed as the "Torch Plan wool textile characteristic industry base" by Guangdong province.

Xie Jinbo said that Dalang will continue to take the road of "government setting up and enterprise acting", taking enterprises as the main body and encouraging enterprises to carry out industrial pformation and upgrading.
