Low Carbon Is Everywhere In Expo Park.

In June 8th, the "energy conservation and emission reduction Expo" campaign was held at the National Pavilion of Expo Park.

Jie Zhenhua, deputy director of the national development and Reform Commission, attended the event and delivered speeches.

World Expo, Shanghai, adheres to the theme of "Better City and better life". It adheres to the concept of "energy saving and emission reduction" and "Low Carbon Expo". It adopts advanced technologies such as energy saving, new energy, ecological environment protection, recycling of resources, and large-scale use of semiconductor lighting products in the activity area. The installed capacity of solar energy generating power is 4.5 MW, more than 400 new energy vehicles are put into use, the collection rate of rainwater and sewage in the park is 100%, the recovery rate of engineering waste and garbage is 100%, and the utilization of resources is more than 50%, which is an active exploration of the future urban life.

This year is the last year of the "energy saving and emission reduction target" for 11th Five-Year. It is also a tough year. In order to further publicize the idea of "energy saving and emission reduction and Low Carbon Expo", visitors can experience the advanced concept of energy conservation through visiting World Expo. The NDRC organized the "energy conservation and emission reduction Expo" campaign, and will send 20 thousand bookmarks with the words "energy saving, emission reduction and Low Carbon Expo" free.

Bookmarks can show the indoor temperature, prompting the user to set the air conditioning temperature of not less than 26 degrees Celsius in summer. We advocate that we should start with the little things around us, save energy and reduce emissions in daily life, and practise low carbon life.
