National High Performance Fiber Industrialization Base Settled In Chengdu

Recently, the Ministry of science and technology officially unveiled the national hi tech fiber industrialization base in Chengdu, Sichuan. At the same time, Lan Chenguang, Print-Rite silicon industry, Shenzhen Zhongsheng, Sichuan University and other enterprises and units signed 12 investment agreements with the Xinjin county government, with a total investment of 6 billion 35 million yuan.

Liu Jiugui, deputy director of the Hi Tech Department of the Ministry of science and technology, attended the inauguration and said that he hoped that Chengdu would rely on the new material industry functional area to give full play to the gathering role of the base for various innovative elements. While focusing on improving the comprehensive supporting capability, it should aim at the high-end industry, accelerate the construction of first-class research and development base, and promote the development of high quality and high quality base, and build an important industrial fiber base with high impact on Chengdu base at an early date.

Chengdu national high performance fiber high and new technology industrialization base takes Xinjin County as the main body, and it will be built in 3 years to develop a new material industry base which focuses on developing key, basic and resource superiority high fiber composite materials.

According to the agreement, China blue will set up a high performance composite industrial park with an investment of about 3 billion yuan. Print-Rite Sichuan silicon industry will implement an additional 3000 tons / year polysilicon production line project with an investment of about 1 billion yuan; Sichuan University will cooperate with Xinjin in public technology service platform, training professional technology and management talents.

In the 13 municipal industrial functional area planning issued in Chengdu early this year, Xinjin is listed as a new material industry functional area.

The national base and the new material industry function area complement each other, which indicates the vigorous development and bright prospects of new industries in Xinjin.

Prior to that, Xinjin county has introduced a number of major industrialization projects such as the western base of China chemical industry group, Print-Rite silicon industry and Swiss sika, and initially formed a new material industry cluster and intensive development trend, laying a good foundation for the subsequent upstream and downstream industrial projects.

At present, the 3000 tons / year solar grade polysilicon production line of Print-Rite Sichuan silicon industry has been put into operation in the new material functional area. China Blue Chenguang 1000 ton / year aramid II is basically completed, and Hao Cheng technology and environmental protection materials and catalyst project is about to start in full.
