The Fifth Meeting Of The International Footwear Standardization Organization Was Held In Beijing

On June 13th, the fifth meeting of the 137 Technical Committee of the international organization for Standardization (hereinafter referred to as the fifth meeting of the ISO/TC137) was held in Beijing in from June 7 to 8, 2010. This is the first time that the conference was held in China, marking the increasingly important role of China's footwear industry on the world stage.

The conference was sponsored by the international standardization organization ISO/TC137, CO sponsored by the National Standardization Management Committee and the China leather and footwear industry research institute.

ISO/TC137 international footwear Standardization Technical Committee Chairman Michael Phlip Wilson (UK) hosted the meeting, the Secretary General of the ISO/TC137 international footwear Standardization Technical Committee Alexis Trollip (South Africa), the Secretary Ade Zdenek Vymetal (South Africa), the Secretary Lisbeth Lisbeth (South Africa), the footwear technology research and development department manager, Dr. Ph. D. (Germany) and the professor of the University of Czech (5).

China has 21 representatives from the national footwear Standardization Technical Committee, the China leather and footwear industry research institute, the China Leather Association, Shanghai Guoxue shoe last limited company, Lining, AOKANG, Kangnai, Luyi and other representatives attended the meeting.
