As shown in figure 4-1-12, there are holes formed on the upper, which increase air permeability and form mesh female shallow shoes.

In addition to the way of opening holes, mesh materials such as netting and mesh cloth can be used to form mesh, or laser carving can be used to form hollowed flower ornaments.

 

Because there are more holes on the upper, when designing holes, you can first draw a grid and punch holes at the intersection points of the mesh.

Note that there is an edge along the mouth of the shoe. The location of the hole should not be near the shoe. Otherwise, the strength of the shoe will be affected.
