Fire Blanket Recall Should Cause Industry Content Warning.

Recently, the European Union has issued a recall warning for fire blanket continuously.

Among them, in March, 2 countries were notified of Belgium, and the product producing country was China. Because this blanket fires 32 seconds later, once it is on fire, the product may burn users or threaten to ignite anything around the burning object. The product does not meet the relevant European standard EN 1869.

In June, Belgium issued three successive notifications for the fire blanket. The products were produced by the United Kingdom and Holland. The reason is that the user may burn the user or expand the range of fire when he uses it to extinguish the fire. The product does not meet the relevant European standard EN 1869. In the short term, 5 recall warnings have been issued for fire blanket products, which are rare. Therefore, manufacturers producing fire blanket should immediately pay attention to testing whether their products meet the requirements of export countries, so as to avoid unnecessary losses.

All the fire-extinguishing blankets sold in European Union countries must be tested by the EN 1869 standard according to the provisions of the European Union Member States and mark EN1869 on each fire blanket. The surface resistance test is arranged before the burning test of the oil pan, mainly considering the safety breakdown resistance when the fire blanket is extinguished when the electrical appliances are on fire. The standard stipulates that the resistance of any point is not less than 1 M ohm.

The life cycle of the product is mainly considered in the microbial test, so as to take certain measures to prevent the harm of microorganism to the product.

In the specified environment (C.2.2), use the prescribed combustion basin, frame and combustion oil to heat the oil basin and keep the temperature up to 10 degrees /MIN. After the oil basin is ignited 25~35MIN, turn off the ignition source burner and let the oil pan continue to burn 2MIN. Completely open the fire blanket and cover the center of the oil tank with the center of the fire blanket, then adjust the position of the fire blanket and remove the Fireproof Blanket after the 17MIN.
