Instructions For Passport And Travel Permit

People's Republic of China embassies and consulates in foreign countries accept applications for passports and travel permits of Chinese citizens living in the territory, and handle postponement and annotation of passports.

First, matters needing attention

(1)

(two) the applicant should be prepared according to the requirements of the embassy and consulate, and be responsible for the materials provided.

Consular officers may refuse to accept materials that are incomplete or produce false materials, provide false information and other conditions that do not meet the requirements.

Those who defraud the documents will be revoked according to law until they are investigated for legal liability.

(three) travel passports do not apply for renewal, replacement, extension and filling procedures. If the parties need to return to China, they should apply for travel permits.

The proof of receipt is the evidence for payment and collection. Please keep it.

Two, the conditions for passport control and the specific materials and documents required to provide the passport are as follows:

(1) a private passport

1, apply for private passport for the first time.

Required materials and supporting documents:

(1) valid residence permit or other legal identity certificate (original and photocopy);

(2) a document certifying the Chinese nationality and date of birth of the Party (original and photocopy);

(3) a completed application form for passport, travel permit and Seamen's card?

(4) passport photo 3.

2. Children first apply for private ordinary passports or handle children's annotation.

(1) children's birth certificate with legal effect, notarial certificate of father's (mother) son relationship, court ruling, etc. (original and photocopy), as well as the proof materials (original and photocopy) issued by the local government departments concerned for the nationality of the child who did not join the country of residence.

(2) passports, valid residence certificates or other legal identity certificates (original and photocopies) of the parents;

(3) a completed application form for passport, travel permit and Seamen's card?

(4) passport photo 3;

3, sub - picture (refers to children from their father or mother passport)

(1) the original and photocopy of the valid passport of the father or mother;

(2), the father or mother, and the local valid residence certificate or other legal identity certificate and the copy;

(3) the original document and copy of the party's notarization (the party is born in the country) or the birth certificate with legal effect (the party is born locally);

(4) a completed application form for passport, travel permit and Seamen's card?

(5) 3 photos of passport holders.

4, renewal of private passport

Required materials and supporting documents:

(1) current passport holder (original and photocopy);

(2) valid residence permit or other legal identity certificate (original and photocopy);

(3) a completed application form for passport, travel permit and Seamen's card?

(4) passport photo 3.

5, private passport renewal

Required materials and supporting documents:

(1) the written report of the passport lost, and the name, date of birth, the original passport number, the issuing authority, the date of issue, and the copy of the original passport will facilitate the application of the passport.

(2) original and photocopies of valid residence certificates or other legal identity certificates in the locality;

(3) a completed application form for passport, travel permit and Seamen's card?

(4) passport photo 3.

(5) the first application for a supplementary photo can be issued after verification of the applicant's status and license. The second time application should be issued three to six months later after verification of the situation; third times, the applicant's identity and license status should be verified after one year.

Note: the temporary consular officers who lost their passports will only issue a valid travel permit once a year to facilitate their return.

6. Extension of private passport

Condition: passport is about to expire, but there are still blank pages. It should be processed within 6 months before the expiration of the passport, with a maximum delay of two times per passport.

Required materials and supporting documents:

(1) passport of applicant (original and photocopy);

(2) valid residence permit or other legal identity certificate (original and photocopy);

(3) completed application form for passport, travel permit and Seamen's card extension?

(4) passport photo 1.

7, private passport annotation

Required materials and supporting documents:

(1) fill in the application form for People's Republic of China passport?

(2) applicants who apply for name filling must provide authentic and legally valid certificates.

(two) official passport

1. Renewal and renewal of the passport for public service.

(1) the embassies and consulates do not handle passports renewal, delay, page filling and filling procedures for those who are on official leave abroad.

(2) if the consular post is approved by the domestic licensing authority, it may handle the passport renewal, delay, page filling and filling procedures for permanent resident officers.

2. Renewal of passport for public service

(1) after being verified by the original authorities, the embassies and consulates shall apply for valid travel permits once a year for temporary public servants going abroad to facilitate their return.

(2) after verification by the original authorities, the consular post may reissue the corresponding passport for those who are on duty abroad.

Relevant conditions and required materials and supporting documents refer to the request for replacement of a private passport.

3, holding ordinary passport passport holders to apply for passport procedures.

(1) since April 1, 2002, the new labor service personnel have changed their own ordinary passports, and the consular post will no longer handle the renewal, replacement and extension of official passport procedures for the labour force from now on.

(2) the service personnel who have held ordinary passports for public use before April 1, 2002 should continue to use their existing passports until the expiry of their term of validity without changing their private passports.

If the term of service contract exceeds the period of validity of the passport, or the need for residence or visa, an ordinary passport may be applied for renewal.

(3) if a service worker loses or loses his or her passport due to the ordinary passport, the consular post may, after verifying the situation of the servant's identity and the original holder's license, issue a private passport.

Three, the conditions for bidding for various travel permits and the specific materials and supporting documents required are as follows:

(1) limit the use of travel permits to return to China.

Conditions: illegal immigrants from repatriated countries and other one-way return personnel.

Materials and supporting documents:

1. Original passport or other identification document (original and photocopy);

2. A completed application form for passport, travel permit and Seamen's card?

Note: if the applicant does not have a passport, the consular post must check the identity of the applicant with the relevant departments in the country before he can go through the relevant formalities.

The applicant must provide my local telephone number and complete and accurate home address to the consular post.

(two) valid travel permit valid for one year or two times.

Conditions: compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and other necessary travel permits holders.
