The rising labor costs also force enterprises to increase labour productivity and reduce employment through new technologies and equipment. In fact, many problems that enterprises are facing now can be solved by upgrading the equipment level. For example, in order to solve the problem of high labor cost, automatic winding machines and long spinning cars with automatic doffing can be used to reduce employment. Despite the impact of the financial crisis, the total investment in China's cotton textile industry continued to grow in 2009, and the advanced equipment ownership rate of the industry continued to improve. The automatic doffing long cars, blowing carding units, automatic winding machines and shuttleless looms have increased to varying degrees. Since the beginning of 2010, with the gradual recovery of the industry and the sharp rise in investment, imports of automatic winding machines and shuttleless looms have increased rapidly. In the first quarter of this year, China imported 767 sets of automatic winder, an increase of 263.5% over the same period last year, 27 imported rotor spinning machines, an increase of 263.5% over the previous year, 1849 imported air-jet spinning machines, an increase of 248.87% over the same period last year, and the total number of imported shuttleless looms reached 3635, an increase of 318.78% over the same period last year. Despite the low base last year, these data indicate that the demand for high-end equipment in China's cotton textile enterprises is growing.

The demand potential of China's textile industry for advanced textile machinery equipment is undoubtedly attracting global textile machinery manufacturing enterprises. It is understood that internationally renowned textile machinery manufacturing enterprises will participate in the 2010 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia Exhibition. Many enterprises have expanded the exhibition area in the past. It can be expected that at this year's international textile machinery exhibition, those new equipment that meets the needs of technological upgrading of enterprises will have a centralized and comprehensive display.
