It is understood that the patent analysis and early warning work launched by the State Intellectual Property Office (IPR), launched in 2008, aims to promote technological innovation and prevent patent risks in major projects of industrialization, avoid duplication of investment, improve the starting point of research, and promote the coordinated development of economy and science and technology.

In the past two years, the State Intellectual Property Office has completed 15 patent analysis and early warning research projects, such as LED lighting, high-end lithography, pure electric vehicles, photovoltaic and wind power.

The research results of some projects have played a corresponding supporting role for the government to introduce relevant policies.

This year, the State Intellectual Property Office will launch 9 patent analysis and early warning projects involving 6 censorship departments, including the State Intellectual Property Office Patent Bureau electrical inventions review department and the chemical inventions review department.
