At present, the printing equipment in leather industry is divided into direct printing equipment, transfer printing equipment and some auxiliary equipment.
A. direct printing equipment: the first choice, of course, is manual lifting. It has the advantages of fast changing pattern, wide adaptability and convenient color register. However, the biggest problem of hand lifting plates used for leather printing is the large amount of waste caused by irregularity of leather. The professional term is called paste edge, and the scissors are used to repair them. Therefore, manual lifting boards do not use much in leather printing.
The most common type of leather printing is the roller printing machine. The special roller printing machine developed by South Korea has excellent printing effect. It can print any fine pattern, and the utilization rate of leather can be maximized. There is basically no waste. In addition, there are drop plastic machine, embossing machine.
B. transfer printing equipment: transfer printing requires a printing machine and heat transfer machine. At present, film is used instead of paper in foreign countries, so a film printer can also be used. The heat transfer printing machine is different from the textile. It requires high pressure and normal working pressure is 20~30kg/cm2, generally using oil pressure. The temperature requirement is not high, the highest is 120 degrees, and the ordinary 80 degrees is enough.
C. auxiliary equipment: auxiliary equipment is the key equipment of leather printing plant. It is related to product category and market share.
2. leather Printing process :
A. is, of course, dye printing. The biggest advantage of dye printing is that the handle is not affected. However, leather can not be steamed at high temperature, so the technology can not copy the textiles. There are a series of dyes abroad, mainly 1:2 type metal complex dyes. The printed leather is not steamed, and it can be dried. However, the price of these dyes is high, and their strength is only 30% to 50% of ordinary dyes. A series of dyes were selected from textile printing dyestuffs. Their fastness is the same as that of imported ones. They are brightly coloured and have high strength. They only have a slight fastness to light fastness. They can be dried on the leather and can not be steamed or washed.
B. followed by pigment printing, which is the largest type of printing in leather printing. Because pigment printing can express gold and silver, with hot film, the product is more and more varied, which can maximize the expression of leather noble, gorgeous features.
C. transfer printing: transfer printing is the most suitable printing method for leather. It is divided into two ways: dry process and wet process. Dry transfer is mostly made of hot sol, which is printed on the release paper or BOPP film and transferred to leather under hot pressing condition. Wet transfer is to spray a special solution on the leather. Then the dye on the transfer paper is dissolved and the solution is fixed on the leather by hot pressing. Leather transfer printing is the most high-grade printing method on leather. The fineness and visual effect of flower pattern are not comparable with other methods.
