In recent years, 6 enterprises such as Hang Sheng Electronics and so on have won the title of the national and municipal enterprise technology center, and Laird electronics and other 10 enterprises have been identified as district level technology centers, giving a total subsidy of 13 million 200 thousand yuan. 123 enterprises have carried out information construction and received 29 million 60 thousand yuan of funds; 3 industrial parks such as Hua Mei, Ying Xing and Jia anda have been awarded the Shenzhen characteristic industrial park, giving 6 million yuan of incentive funds and speeding up the pfer and elimination of backward production capacity.

It is reported that since 2006 alone, Baoan District has pferred 651 enterprises (including 98 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size), accounting for 8 billion 900 million yuan of industrial output value, accounting for 1.2% of the total industrial output value above Designated Size, and more than 2300 "bad enterprises" eliminated in accordance with the law.

In guiding enterprises to speed up pformation and upgrading, Baoan District has also increased the guidance and financial support for technological pformation, upgraded and promoted the manufacturing industry with modern information technology, reduced the dependence of enterprises on low cost labor, and changed the pattern of relying on overtime and low wages to obtain the competitive power of low-end manufacturing industry.
