In the 22 specific proposals on cross-strait industrial cooperation, we propose that we will continue to implement cross strait industrial cooperation bridge projects, encourage two-way investment, promote pilot projects for industrial cooperation, deepen cooperation in textile, electronics, precision machinery, petrochemical and other fields, and strengthen cooperation in emerging fields such as information, biotechnology, new energy, energy saving, environmental protection and electric vehicles.

Guangdong will take the lead in the industrial exchanges and cooperation between Guangdong and Taiwan.

News from the July 12th meeting showed that Guangdong will encourage and promote settlement of Taiwan funded enterprises' settlement centers in finance.

Support Taiwan funded enterprises to participate in the construction of regional financial centers in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and promote RMB settlement in Guangdong and Taiwan trade.

Chen Xueqin, deputy inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Department of foreign trade and economic cooperation, said that Guangdong will actively build a financing guarantee platform for Taiwan funded enterprises, encourage and promote Taiwan financial institutions with strong strength, or cooperate with financial institutions in Guangdong Province and Taiwan financial institutions to set up financing Guarantee corporation or financial institutions for Taiwan funded enterprises.

In the logistics industry, Guangdong will encourage the construction of Guangdong and Taiwan direct cargo distribution center to attract investment from large logistics enterprises in Taiwan.

22 specific proposals also point out that the two sides will actively develop modern service industries and enhance the competitiveness of the service industry across the Straits.

We should strengthen cooperation in such fields as financial services, agricultural products logistics, Internet services, tourism and medical services, value-added telecommunications services, etc., to create new value of cross-strait services, provide more employment opportunities and improve the quality of people's lives.

Guangdong will also focus on introducing Taiwan.

Chen Xueqin pointed out that Taiwanese investment in Guangdong has gradually stepped into the fields of precision machinery, optical instruments, IT industry and information, bioengineering, liquid crystal display module, photoelectric industry, new materials, new energy, environmental protection, three high agriculture, service industries and other high technology and high intelligence industries, and accelerated the formation of multiple industries and high-level supporting systems, showing the characteristics of increasing investment scale, higher technology content and more obvious industrial agglomeration effect.

Before that, the industrial structure of Taiwanese funded enterprises in Guangdong was out of balance, and Taiwanese investment was mainly concentrated in processing and manufacturing industries, and the proportion of modern service industry and modern agriculture was relatively small.

The news of this meeting shows that agricultural cooperation will become one of the highlights of cross-strait economic and trade cooperation.

Guangdong will focus on introducing advanced concepts and models of Taiwan's agricultural development, and introducing modern agricultural enterprises to further improve the Foshan and Zhanjiang Cross Straits Agricultural Cooperation experimental areas and Zhuhai Jin Wan and Shantou South Korea Taiwan farmers Pioneer Park.

Ye Yuanlin, a researcher at the China Rice Research Institute, pointed out that there is strong complementarity between Guangdong and Taiwan's agricultural resources and industrial development.

The research achievements of high and new technology support the development of Taiwan's top-quality agriculture, and the huge market capacity of Guangdong will bring unlimited business opportunities to Taiwan's agricultural exports.

Zhang Huiying, chairman of Zhuhai silver based agricultural products Co., Ltd., said that Zhuhai's proximity to Hong Kong, Macao and Guangzhou has its fast and convenient pportation to ensure the freshness and timely supply of agricultural products.
