    As we all know, there is a pre shrinking process in the production of textile fabrics.

    Aiming at this process, the textile industry has specially designed and produced a kind of fabric shrinking machine. The machine includes a series of pretreatment processes, such as cloth delivering device, humidifying device, vibration beating device, heating and drying device, wet cooling device, cloth inspection code device, cloth rolling and trimming device.

    After shrinking, the fabric feels good and the color is strong.

    But the equipment is expensive and requires a skilled worker to operate.

    It is understood that the cost of the pre shrinking process will account for about 7% of the textile cost, which will naturally lead to a larger difference compared with the fabric price without pre shrinking process.

    Insiders pointed out that this is the fundamental reason why many textile production enterprises ignore the "shrinkage rate" of products, and do not mark products and pretend to be deaf and dumb.


    Many consumers, who suffer from the "shrinkage rate" problem, have to choose to "walk away quietly" in view of the high cost of safeguarding their rights.


    Testing standards to be improved


    I have to admit that the problem of shrinkage has always been a big problem in China's textile industry and even fiber inspection department.

    For a long time, no practical and effective solution has been found.

    "Shrinkage rate" is not up to standard, which is a very common problem in the textile industry, whether in the home textile industry or in the clothing industry.


    With the "shrinkage rate" problem being investigated and dealt with, some people in the industry pointed out the problem. "Shrinkage rate" is not up to standard. Besides the conscious cost consideration of enterprises, it is also related to some enterprises' lack of strictest enforcement procedures.

    For example, some enterprises did not strictly check the specifications according to the specifications specified in the fabric when they were sent to the inspection. If the interception of the 3 meter sample was only 2 meters, it was very arbitrary.

    At the same time, according to the eighth provision of the law on the protection of consumer rights and interests, "consumers have the right to know the goods purchased or used, or to accept the true situation of services."


    Consumers shall have the right to require operators to provide prices, origin, producers, purposes, performance, specifications, grades, main components, production dates, validity dates, inspection certificates, usage instructions, after-sale service contents, etc. according to different situations of commodities or services, so that consumers who encounter "shrinkage" problems will no longer be "shrunk".
