Us Accuses India Garment Manufacturers Of Using Child Labor

India clothing exporters most worried about the matter finally happened, the United States for second consecutive years accused India clothing manufacturing industry to use child labor, the United States labor department's list of products will be included in India may use child labor countries, which makes India clothing exporters reputation shame.

The United States government said that the United States will regard the origin and clothing of India as products. The Labor Department of the United States and the Ministry of Homeland Security believe that India clothing products may be forced to engage in child labor or contract child labor in the process of mining, production or manufacture according to the origin country.

The only comfort in India is that the US Labor Department excludes India carpet from the list of possible child labor products.

The labor force of the United States has been examined in two types, namely, in the name of the president of the United States and the Ministry of labour. The India issue is included in the first review and the second censorship is in September.

It is well known that if a country uses child labor, it will be included in the 13126 list of executive orders of the United States (EOL) and the list of Victims Protection Authorization Act (TVPRA) of the US Department of labor.

Last year, India was also included in the two list, and the two lists were distributed to large retailers in the United States.

Although it does not directly threaten about $3 billion in India clothing exports to the US, the reputation of India's apparel industry is threatened by its major global buyers, such as WAL-MART, JCPenny and GAP.

A high-level delegation from India, possibly including India textile minister DayanidhiMaran, may visit the United States in the third week of August. They will introduce the measures adopted by the US government to prevent child labour in India's clothing industry, and try to convince the US authorities.

The government is also working with exporters to promote the global approach of textile factories in terms of national and economic capital.
