The Second China Horticultural Exposition Opens Ceremoniously

Wang Zhengwei said at the opening ceremony that in recent years, Ningxia has insisted on developing horticultural facilities as a breakthrough in promoting the construction of modern agriculture, and accelerating the construction of modern agriculture, dry farming and water-saving agriculture that will lead the northwest and demonstrate the whole country.

In his speech, Chen Xiaohua pointed out that the Party committee and government of the Ningxia autonomous region have vigorously promoted the pformation of agricultural structure and the mode of agricultural development in recent years. Under the premise of stabilizing food security, we have vigorously developed six characteristic industries, namely, high-quality grain, fresh water fish, grapes, red dates, high-quality pastures and crops, and achieved remarkable results in agricultural industrialization.

Hosting the horticultural exposition is a major move to promote the development of protected horticulture and characteristic industries in Ningxia.

It is hoped that Ningxia will build a good cooperation platform for the development of the western and even the whole country's horticultural industry and the development of characteristic agriculture by holding such an agricultural event, which will contribute more to the development of agriculture and the opening up of agriculture to the West and even the whole country.

According to the introduction, this horticultural exposition takes the theme of "co-ordination, development, green and innovation" as the theme, and focuses on the exhibition of agricultural and hi-tech achievements at home and abroad, seed and seedling, agricultural machinery, horticultural facilities, greenhouse materials, irrigation facilities and special agricultural products in and outside the region. It focuses on agricultural products production and marketing docking, scientific and technological consultation, trade negotiations, exchange and cooperation, sightseeing and other activities. Through the holding of the sand industry summit forum, horticulture and special advantage agricultural products promotion cooperation and investment negotiations and investment and trade cooperation signing ceremony, it will promote exchanges and cooperation between Ningxia and other provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) and abroad, and jointly promote the rapid and healthy development of horticultural industry and characteristic superior agriculture.
