In January, a total of 37 textile products were recalled in Europe, mainly in children's clothing. The members were mainly Bulgaria, and China accounted for 14 of the 37 incidents.

The main reason for the recall was concentrated on the risk of strangulation.

In February, the EU requested 67 textile products recalled, focusing on children's clothing and scarves. The members were mainly Bulgaria, Greece, Germany and Cyprus. China accounted for 30 of the 67 incidents. The main reasons for the recall were strangulation, injury and chemical hazards.

In March, the European Union asked for 74 children's clothing recalled, up to 38 in China. The main reason for the recall was that the members were mainly Bulgaria, Greece, Germany and Cyprus. From the first half of the textile recall situation, recalled products are mainly concentrated on children's clothing.

Most of them do not stipulate the conformity of product design when signing contracts with customers, which leads to the recall.

Wang Suyi, deputy manager of Sales Department of Shaoxing Acacia import and Export Co., Ltd. suggests that when domestic enterprises receive foreign orders, special attention should be paid to the order requirements and responsibilities of three aspects, such as the quality of the production process, the product's surface style, and the standard testing of components, so as to effectively avoid the phenomenon of recalling responsibility.

More importantly, these Regulations are listed as standards in Europe and have regulatory effect.

Environmental protection is limited.

In today's international textile industry, eco-friendly textiles have been widely concerned, and the concept of green textiles has been widely advocated in the textile industry.

Closely related to environmental protection is the European Union's REACH regulations. From January 2010 to early May, there were 17 recalls caused by chemical problems, 6 clothing products and 6 scarves. Clothing became the protagonist recalled for violation of REACH, and the production countries involved China, India, Morocco, Italy, Philippines and so on.

Many clothing products were recalled because of azo dyes, ortho benzene two formate DEHP, toxic aromatic amines, DMF and so on.

In Europe, there is a clear limit on the content of these components, such as the limit value of azo dye fuel is 30 mg / kg.

Of course, the EU's protection of textile environmental issues is not limited to the chemical level, but also includes strict checks on the metal substances and other components contained in textiles, so as to ensure the ecological and environmental protection of textile products to the maximum extent and ensure people's healthy life.
