In May 2010, local importers filed a lawsuit against the Lahore Court on the legality of the Pakistan Customs Committee's decision to impose anti-dumping duties. The court held that the procedure adopted by the ruling was not in conformity with the provisions, and decided that NTC should resume anti-dumping investigations and suspend anti-dumping duties during the investigation.
