Through the two ways of online voting and CUBA official recommendation, the training camp finally selected 30 top CUBA basketball players, and hired CBA well-known coach and former Guangdong Hongyuan team coach Zhang Yongjun to personally carry out "CBA" training for the players to help players grow further, and to select more outstanding basketball stars for Chinese basketball.

The first day's training class was at the national mourning ceremony in Zhouqu, Gansu. The training began, and all the players, coaches and staff present shared a silent tributes for the people of Gansu and Zhouqu for 3 minutes, expressing the heavy mourning for the Zhouqu people suffered from the huge debris flow disaster.

Subsequently, the training camp on the first day of training began.

The CUBA elite athletes showed excellent basketball skills, tough willpower and rigorous training attitude, which made coach Zhang Yongjun very gratified.
