Dalian Will Hold The Twenty-First International Clothing Festival

The reporter learned from the press conference of the Dalian Municipal People's Government in August 26th that the twenty-first Dalian international costumes Carnival and the 2010 China (Dalian) International Garment and Textile Fair will be held from September 4th to September 8th.

This clothing festival, Carnival and costume Fair will focus on the two themes of "costumes and festivals". Apart from the first carnival held in Dalian, there will be a number of main activities such as the "Dalian Cup" youth costume designer competition, the Asian ethnic costumes exhibition, the Dalian geo industrial clothing exhibition, the garden party and so on.

China (Dalian) International Garment and Textile Fair jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, the China Textile Industry Association and the Dalian Municipal People's government is a state-level professional exhibition approved by the State Council.

This year it has been named "fashion romantic wind --2010 China (Dalian) International Garment and Textile Exposition".

In 2010, the clothing and Textile Expo "persisted in adhering to the idea of innovative development, taking the road of internationalization and marketization", focusing on strengthening investment promotion, promoting trade and trade exchanges, brand pactions and stimulating local industries, focusing on activities such as exhibition, fashion show, brand agency promotion, fashion trend release, theme forum and other activities, deepening functional orientation, and making every effort to create boutique exhibitions.

The exhibition is divided into two parts: professional exhibition and retail exhibition. It uses two pavilions of World Expo Plaza and Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center.

The exhibition will reach 40 thousand square meters and 1700 standard booths.

Among them, the World Expo Plaza is a professional exhibition, with an exhibition area of 25 thousand square meters, with 1000 booths, an increase of 200 over last year. Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center is a retail exhibition, with an exhibition area of 25 thousand square meters and a total of 700 booths.

The "Dalian Cup" youth costume designer competition aims to promote scientific and technological innovation in the garment industry, explore and cultivate innovative talents, provide talent reserves for the development of Dalian garment industry, and promote the industrialization of production, learning and research and garment design with the competition as the carrier.

The competition has received 584 series of 2336 entries from 10 clothing colleges in Dalian. In order to let the general public and tourists have a thorough understanding of the history of the development of human clothing and dress, and display the unique clothing culture of Asia, add more heavy clothing culture accumulation to Dalian's famous clothing city. This clothing festival will focus on the clothing and costumes of different ethnic groups in Asia by means of collection and reproduction.

This exhibition has exhibited 60 sets of over 150 Asian costumes and decorations.

Dalian geo industrial clothing exhibition is one of the important contents of the clothing festival. It will focus on displaying the image of Dalian clothing enterprises and publicize Dalian's clothing brand.

The Dalian geo industrial clothing exhibition will be held in Dalian Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center in from September 4th to 11th. There will be 600 booths.

During the current clothing festival, there will be 3 Dalian local clothing brand performances.

Meanwhile, the costume festival will also hold a garden party in Dalian Labor Park, Tiger Beach Ocean Park, forest zoo, bird's nest wedding Park, Fu Jia Zhuang Park, Haiyun Park and botanical garden. The garden party will focus on the layout of the 7 garden grounds. At the same time, it will highlight the cultural features of the costume and dress, and integrate into the activities of large-scale flower show, costumes display, theatrical performances, square art performances and people's self entertainment activities, highlighting the mass participation and universality, so that the general public and tourists can enjoy the joy of the costume festival and the frenzy festival in the garden.
