Footwear And Other 998 Enterprises Basically Completed The Energy Saving Task Last Year.

The national development and Reform Commission announced on the 3 day that most of the 998 enterprises undertaking the national energy saving task completed the task of saving energy last year, totaling 38 million 170 thousand tons of standard coal.

According to the development and Reform Commission, 953 of the 998 enterprises signed with the provincial people's government signed the "responsibility for energy conservation objectives". 953 participated in the annual assessment of local provincial governments, 3 were bankrupt, 15 were annexed, 26 were shut down, and 1 enterprises had undergone significant changes in energy consumption.

Of the above enterprises, 879 completed the annual energy saving target, accounting for 92.2%; 74 uncompleted annual energy saving targets accounted for 7.8%.

As a major measure of energy saving and emission reduction in China, China has launched thousands of enterprises' energy saving actions since 2006.

The responsible persons of the development and Reform Commission said that the above-mentioned enterprises signed letters of responsibility for energy conservation goals with the provincial people's governments, conscientiously implemented the Scientific Outlook on Development, attached great importance to energy saving work, improved the management system, increased energy input and strengthened basic work. A large number of backward processes, technologies and equipment were eliminated through the development of energy audit, energy conservation planning, implementation of energy efficiency benchmarking activities, and development of key energy consuming equipment.

According to the development and Reform Commission, the total investment of 998 enterprises in energy saving technology pformation in 2007 reached about 50000000000 yuan, and more than 8000 energy-saving technical pformation projects were implemented.

The development and Reform Commission requests that, according to the notice issued by the State Council on the implementation of the plan and measures for the statistical monitoring and assessment of energy conservation and emission reduction, all the local state-owned enterprises and state holding enterprises in these enterprises shall hand over the above assessment results to the state-level assets supervision organs at all levels as the important basis for the performance appraisal of the enterprises responsible persons, and implement the accountability system.

The development and Reform Commission also requires that the enterprises that have completed the evaluation and appraisal results to be over fulfilled and completed the grade shall be notified by the Provincial Department of energy conservation and commended and rewarded with outstanding results.

For the enterprises whose evaluation results are unfinished grades, the development and Reform Commission requests that the rectification measures be put forward within one month after the announcement of the examination results, and report to the provincial departments for energy conservation at the locality for rectification within a specified time.

These enterprises are not allowed to participate in the annual awards and honorary titles, and do not give national preferential measures such as exemption from inspection.

In addition, new energy consumption projects and new industrial land will be suspended for approval and approval during the year.

The development and Reform Commission said that although nearly a thousand enterprises have achieved remarkable results in energy conservation, there are still some problems: the energy conservation management institutions of some enterprises are not perfect, the system is not perfect, and there is no professional energy-saving management personnel; some enterprises have not set up special energy-saving technological pformation funds, and energy saving research and development and technological pformation investment are insufficient; the basic work such as measurement and statistics is weak, some enterprises fail to meet the three level metering requirements of energy; some enterprises exist the situation of using energy consuming technology and equipment eliminated by the state.
