In this way, a dream of becoming rich overseas was completely broken.
Migrant workers' overseas dream of "gold rush" has been shattered, but it has left people with very painful lessons.
So what should we pay attention to when going abroad?
First of all, we must go abroad through the organization of "overseas labor export" qualification and lawful operation of the agencies. Secondly, we must conscientiously sign the labor agreement.
Before leaving the country, migrant workers should also sign "agreement on intermediary services for overseas employment" with their dispatched offices. Third, before sending out the migrant workers, the dispatched offices shall submit to the provincial labor and social security administration departments "overseas employment intermediary service agreement, labor contract, employer's lawful business opening certificate, credit certificate, and the approval of the competent government department of the foreign country for the purpose of obtaining employment abroad". Fourth, a medical examination must be conducted.
After going abroad, migrant workers must undergo medical examination. Once a year, more than one health check is carried out. If there is serious illness, they can not continue to work. They should be sent back to the country by the dispatched office and bear the cost of returning home. Finally, the dispatched office should contact the migrant workers once a month. When an industrial accident or accident occurs abroad, the dispatched office should apply for compensation for industrial injury according to the contract, and has the obligation to provide unconditional assistance to migrant workers.
If there is a phenomenon of arrears of wages, the dispatched offices may apply to the cooperative units for the payment of wages by employing units.
