Thailand Ministry Of Industry Appeals: Textile Industry Should Seize The Opportunities Of ASEAN Community
On September 24th, deputy director of the Ministry of industry of Thailand said that Thailand textile industry There is also a chance to continue to grow. Last year, the total value of textiles and clothing exports in Thailand amounted to US $7 billion 289 million, accounting for 1.3% of the global market rate. At present, the total value of the global market is about US $500 billion.
Thailand textile has great growth opportunities in the ASEAN market. From ASEAN countries, ASEAN will become an ASEAN Economic Community and Promote ASEAN to become an important market and production base in the world.

The industrial alliance has worked with textile producers in Thailand and Indonesia to find garment production partners in Laos, Burma, Kampuchea and Vietnam, to enhance the stability of ASEAN textile manufacturers and to compete with other Asian countries.
The stability of ASEAN producers will help to deal with exchange rate fluctuations better.
Raw material
There is a lack of such problems because the textile producers in the ASEAN region can meet the needs of the ASEAN customers.
Peng said that at present, the textile producers in ASEAN region have contributed to 14 pairs of trading partners, and held a meeting on 5-7 October 2010 to increase the number of trading partners to 20.
In addition, the current price of cotton has risen sharply, which seriously affects the production cost of textile producers, and there may be shortages in the short term.
Uira, head of the textile industry development institute, predicted that the total value of textiles and clothing exports in Thailand will reach $7 billion 487 million in 2010, an increase of 15.2% over the past year.
