Qin Yunfang, director of Wujiang economic and Information Committee, and Cai Xuexiong, President of the Wujiang Silk Association, are deeply puzzled about how to deal with the relevant contradictions.

Wujiang textile and chemical fiber enterprises are mainly concentrated in Shengze and its surrounding areas.

At present, there are more than 4000 production enterprises and more than 8000 trading enterprises in Shengze and surrounding areas with a total area of more than 150 square kilometers. The density is very high, and there is almost no room for development.

At the same time, strict environmental protection measures in Taihu rim are very restrictive for chemical, dyeing and finishing enterprises.

Giving full play to Wujiang's characteristics

How to break through in adversity is an urgent need for people from all walks of life in Wujiang.

"The development of Wujiang's textile and chemical fiber industry should be consistent with the actual situation in the region, consistent with the development plan of the Yangtze River Delta, and consistent with the development plan of China's chemical fiber industry."

He believes that the number of huge enterprises in Wujiang, especially in Shengze, has formed industrial clusters, but the agglomeration effect can also be reflected more fully.

Zhu Meifang, Dean of the school of materials science and engineering, Donghua University, also believes that Wujiang should "develop from production base to R & D and production integration base."

In order to alleviate the pressure of local resources, energy and environment, Wang Wei suggested that local conditional enterprises could consider "going out".

If Hengli Group set up industrial parks in Suqian and invested in PTA projects in Dalian, Sheng Hong group is preparing to build PTA projects in Lianyungang and so on.

According to the analysis of the participants, the coloring technology of raw liquor has great prospects for development in Wujiang. It can better balance the contradiction between the coordinated development of industrial chain and environmental constraints.
