Dubai Cotton Center Takes Part In The 2010 Uzbek Cotton Expo

The promotion body is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai multi Commodity Center. It announced that it will participate in the Sixth International Uzbek cotton exhibition held in Uzbekistan on October 13, 2010 -14.
In 2008, after signing a framework agreement with Uzprommashimpeks, a major exporter in Uzbekistan, Dubai cotton center has been promoting Uzbekistan's cotton exports.

It is currently the world's third largest exporter of cotton, and is expected to export 3 million 200 thousand packages in 2009-2010.

Uzbekistan's local logistics system consists of 23 warehouses with a capacity of 400 thousand tonnes, with good pport infrastructure and shipping channels.
The task of Dubai cotton centre is to promote trade between Uzbekistan and international trade, small, medium and end-users.
The Dubai cotton center helps customers finance and makes it easier for customers to buy cotton. At the same time, the center provides daily spot cotton prices.
In addition, the Dubai cotton centre promotes the financing of cotton inventory trade and provides special convenience tools through the trade sector.
Malcolm Wall Morris, chief executive of Dubai cotton center, said: "we anticipate that global trade and exports will expand. This will enable Dubai cotton to consolidate Dubai's position as an important link in the global cotton supply chain and play a role in Central Asia and a wider Asian market for cotton consumption economies.

The two day exhibition will include the cotton trade fair, round table discussions and seminars on various issues, including the world cotton and textile market, and Uzbekistan's cotton production and marketing.
